Practice and employment

Practice and subsequent employment play a key role in the professional development of students of the Department of Tourism and Service. Interacting with real business and industry gives students an understanding of the real challenges and challenges they may face after graduation.

Practice:

Production practice: Students gain work experience directly at tourism and hospitality enterprises – in travel agencies, hotels, restaurants and other facilities.
Pedagogical and research practice: for students of the master's degree, the practice necessary for the acquisition of practical skills in the pedagogical and scientific environment is considered.
Summer Internships: Many students go on summer internships in various countries, where they gain international experience and immerse themselves in other cultural and business environments.
Cooperation with partners: The Department has partnerships with major players in the tourism and hospitality industry, which provides students with high-quality places to practice.
Mentoring: The department has student clubs that contribute to the activation of not only the scientific activities of students, but also the process of mentoring senior students over younger ones in the framework of research and practical projects, organization of master classes and guest lectures

Employment:

Partnership with employers: The Department has agreements and partnerships with key employers in the field of tourism and hospitality, which contributes to the rapid employment of graduates.
Career events: Job fairs, workshops from industry practitioners, seminars on employment and career building are regularly held.
Continuing the career of undergraduates in the academic environment: Those who wish to stay at the university for scientific or teaching activities can obtain appropriate positions at the department or in other educational institutions.
